Like most things these days, furniture seems to be losing it's personality. Over-consumption and mass marketing have done to furniture what fast food did to the waistline. Every woman can be defined by three things: their drink of choice, the car they drive, and their greatest pleasure. Obsessions are like dirty habits. Everyone has them, yet no one likes to talk about them. Like most normal people (and I use the term normal loosely) I too have a handful of obsessions that dictate my life. Lately I've been loving the latest rendition of clothing from the era of excess, also known as the eighties. The culture of the phone call seems to have all but died, with nothing in it's path but obnoxious ring tones, and people yelling "Can you hear me now?" It's Monday morning, day after the Super Bowl, and unfortunately that means that today is the beginning of the longest wait you'll have until you see football again. There will be celebrating in Steel-town, free agent rumors, head coach hirings (and firings), and all sorts of other fun that goes along with the off-season. 

Today is also your chance to bid the 2008-2009 season farewell by getting geared up for next year.
