queenlatifah4HSNHSN and Queen Latifah are joining forces to bring you this star's first ever lifestyle line, The Queen Collection. On August 27th, HSN presented an exclusive and original line of fashion, handbags, and accessories created for you by the Queen herself! Since Queen Latifah always presents herself elegantly and stylishly, it would only seem natural for that to translate into her diverse line of products. Most items are under $100, with the most expensive items- leather and suede purses and jackets- under $300. And did we forget to mention that there is finally a stylish line for ALL women? Sizes run from 4-24 and XS-3X!

Plus, don't miss her hair extensions premiere this September. They don't come cheap, but these top-quality pieces were, in the Queens own words, "Designed to bring quality hair to the masses." This is one launch that's sure to make you oh-so-fashionable for Fall! You can visit the Queen Collection launch and store at

Everyone has their favorite stores, and while my list is quite long and ever-changing, there is one shop that will forever remain on my list: ModCloth. It is a vast store with interesting, vintage inspired finds (and I love earning Cash Back) that can work well with any outfit or occasion. Here are my reasons for loving ModCloth:

1. Unique coats that LOOK like I found them at a thrift store

2. So many styles of oxfords for those days that heels are just not going to happen

3. Crazy platforms that, despite the fact that I am going to break an ankle in, I MUST have!

4. Funky umbrellas that make me hope that I don't lose/break them

5. Statements rings that don't cost an arm and a leg

6. Eco-totes that make me excited for grocery shopping

7. Necklaces for any occasion

8. Cardigans that I could probably share with my boyfriend (but won't)

9. Skirts with pockets that are also flattering (I thought they were an urban legend)

10. T-Shirts that make me chuckle

I'm Erin Chase, also known as The $5 Dinner Mom.

I have a little problem. I can not make a meal that costs more than $5, and I want to show you how to make a meal for your family that doesn't cost more than 5 bucks!Making family dinners can be difficult enough, but doing so on a budget can be even more challenging!

I started on August 22, 2008, to inspire and equip others to cut your grocery bill in half. At the website and in both of my cookbooks, you'll learn all about the method to the $5 Dinners madness. My hope and desire is that you can start spending less of your hard earned dollars at the grocery store. On the website, you'll find meal planning advice and strategies, couponing tips and tricks, ways to spend less time in the kitchen preparing all of your favorite meals, and daily recipes that are simple to prepare and easy on the wallet.

Today celebrates the 3 birthday of, and because I love y'all so much...I'll be giving away a cookbook every single hour of today! And also, I'm thrilled to be throwing a little party over here with the Ebates family, as we celebrate the birthday with more giveaways!

While neutrals have been the winning hue this summer (more on that another day), I have been seeing great bright shades red. Maybe it is because red isn't a color I have embraced in the past, but I am really loving it for the Summer. And it will keep looking chic (and earning you Cash Back) well into the Fall!

It is is the time of the year to get ready to send your kids Back To School.  For many Moms this is the best time of the year and for others it is the saddest time of the year.  I personally love my son more than anything however we both love the routine that school provides us.

I would like to share with you 5 tips for Back-to-School Success.

1.  It is very important to transition from summer to school.  You want to create a set bedtime and routine for your children.  In the 2 weeks before school start by getting into a routine of going to bed 10 minutes earlier until you are at the time you want for the children's set bedtime.

2.  Avoid extra activities (if possible) the 1st week of school.  It is a huge transition for your children the first week of school.  If possible miss extra activities and allow your children time to settle into their new routine without distractions.  This one is going to be hard for us because it is also the first week of soccer practice and hubby is the coach.

3.  Prepare the night before so that your morning runs smoothly.  Pack back packs, school lunches, lay out clothes.  Anything that you can do to simplify your morning routine is key.  Don't forget to add special touches from home.  Use cookie cutters to turn sandwiches into shapes, put notes in your child's lunchbox, pack their favorite comfort food.  Another tip is to freeze their grapes or juice pouch to help keep their lunch cool.  Giving them something to look forward to at lunchtime.  Be sure to check out my review on snackTAXIS for a great way to help save the planet while you pack lunches!

4.  Create a positive relationship with your children's teachers.  I suggest sending a note or email to your child's teacher.  I suggest asking your child's teacher if she has a wishlist of items that you could help with or send in items that you think would be beneficial with a note.  I am personally sending a little gift the first day of school.  I had special parents who did this for me throughout my teaching career and I will never forget it!

5.  Create a First Day of School Tradition.  Our tradition is that I cook "Mickey Mouse" pancakes and bacon on the first day of school and we always take a picture of my son on our front porch holding a sign that says the name of the school and year (see above).  This way we never forget the year and we are able to see his growth from year to year.  It is a special tradition and I don't embarrass him at school by taking a picture

Be sure to visit Stockpiling Moms.  We have all the great Back To School Deals available at the stores!

August 10, 2011

Hi there, it's Kristin from BonBon Rose Girls! I'm stopping by today to share with you a fall 2011 trend that I'm loving, leopard prints.

At Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC this year, a favorite show that I attended was Rebecca Minkoff. She sent a spectacular leopard pant suit down the runway that made me fall in love with animal prints even more than I already was! I didn't even think that was possible!

In my world, leopard prints don't even qualify as a trend because I tend to bring them out every year. For me, leopard is almost a neutral and as timeless as a red pout or mani.

If animal prints intimidate you and you aren't quite ready to go all out with a leopard pant suit, for instance, stick to small pops of visual interest in accessory form. A great pair of leopard heels or a bag can go a long way! I found all these pieces at my regular shopping haunt Nordstrom. If you just have to snag one or more of them, use Ebates and you'll earn 5% cash back!

So, what fall trends are you looking forward to sporting this year?

This time of year I always have the same internal debate: buy new glasses frames or not? My eyes will inevitably be worse at my upcoming appointment, and I admit, shopping for glasses frames is something I rather enjoy. While Ebates does not have a huge number of merchants selling glasses, however, FramesDirect has a staggering selection. If I decide to indulge in a new pair of glasses, I sure am looking forward to the Cash Back!
